He's wrong about poverty. He's assuming AI will reach God-like omniscience, and humanity will survive in the process, by getting it installed into our brains with his neuralink chips. Let's say this assumption is correct, and all of this will happen. The part he's missing, is that it's also safe to assume that *some* humans will revolt, and *not* get the brain chips. In this scenario, those humans will be poor. He isn't even thinking about those, he isn't even considering the possibility that some might desire to retain their humanity. If you ask him about that, he'd probably say something like "HAHAHA yeah, SUBTARDS will always exist! what a bummer. well, not much I can do about those. they'll probably end up going extinct, fighting the robots or something. HAHAHA!"
