Portuguese authors
Lobo Antunes passed away last week and I was really shaken by that. He's my favorite Portuguese author and he always mogged Saramago in every possible way. It's a shame not a lot of people got to know him, but a few of his books were translated into English. It's really worth it.

>>21 He was praised by being retarded, I can give you that. That's something I'll never understand. Most of his books are bad and his language just makes them even worse. He just pretended he was some kind of Portuguese Faulkner but he was just an awful author.
