For me all those voxel sandbox games are basically unplayable without heavy modding. And even with heavy modding, you always end up comparing "hmm but if I played a dedicated standalone game for this, it would probably be better". My favourite experiences so far are Minecraft tech puzzles progression gating based modpacks like Create Above & Beyond, Arcane Engineering, etc. Not a single RPG modpacks I played for more than few hours. I have some hopes in Hytale being good for RPG stuff, but atm the only fun experience that I enjoyed for more than few days was ZHorde server with zombie waves slasher RPG minigame. Luanti is just a piece of trash, unmoddable and unplayable.
