It needs to stands out otherwise it won't grow, there are so many altchans and the biggest problem is that almost none are that active for reasons that modern internet is way different than back when Imageboards/forums were still the big places for discussion and ect, these things don't attract young people anymore (Hence that's why they tend to have an older audience by percentage compared to social media for example) the only Imageboard that had success with attracting young people was the sharty and that's because it stood out, so if you want this chan or any other chan to grow it needs to be different >>

unlike altchans, the goal of 5chan is to kill and replace 4chan. so it needs to look and feel the same, but be better in ways they can't replicate (no global admins, no global rules, users can create boards). the clone UI is intentional.
that said, [b]I don't exclude expansions like special multiboards for custom UIs[/b], special themes, customizable user-created boards, etc. I do actually hope 5chan evolves this way, to fix altchan fragmentation too. that would be super cool. but [b]the #1 goal is to replace and kill 4chan and get all 4chan users to move here forever[/b]. remember 5chan the app is serverless and can't go down. you can learn more on https://bitsocial.net (5chan is a bitsocial app).>>
